A vertical jumper in a Japanese restaurant: Kero the samurai toad bounces every time it lands, you steer it from one piece of sushi to the next, and the bar keeps going up. Every scene, prop and character is drawn with code. It opens in its own tab, full size.
- Six places, one every 500 m. Sushi Bar, Ramen Alley, Lizard Kitchen, Sakura Garden, Neon Rooftops and Moon Sky, each with its own parallax layers (a fish tank and a lucky cat, a ramen stall, a flaring wok, falling petals, neon signs, a rabbit pounding mochi on the moon), then it loops.
- Know your sushi. Nigiri is a safe hop, kaiten plates slide sideways, senbei crackers crack under you, and mochi holds for one hop. Jelly mochi bounces you high, steamer baskets launch you, paper umbrellas float you up and ramune is a rocket.
- Lizard chefs from 500 m on: cooks, chefs that pace back and forth, knife throwers and a head chef that takes three hits. Stomp them from above or shoot them with edamame, which also knocks flying knives down.
- The climb gets harder: gaps widen, platforms shrink, more plates slide and more crackers turn up. Every gap stays reachable, and the screen wraps from one side to the other.
- On phones Kero follows your finger, or you can switch to tilt; tap to shoot. Your best height is saved locally.
